Visiting and learning about the history of the Acropolis was an awesome eye opener for me that taught me many powerful business principles.
I am not sure about you but when you visit these old sites, churches or structures, doesn't it amaze you what men and women were able to do without technology and computer aided design.
In the case of the Parthenon, it only took 9 years to build. I has taken over 30 to restore it with all of the modern technology, but I think there are some other issues there.
But it was the vision of Pericles who wanted to make Athens great who directed the building of the Parthenon. Did he have obstacles? Of course - for example how do we get the marble from the neighbouring mountain Pantelis, and how do we get it up this huge steep hill that the Acropolis is sitting on?
I am sure he had many other obstacles, but his VISION overcame the obstacles. The result is that the Parthenon is one of the most copied buildings in the world. Even though it is not in the greatest shape - it has stood the test of time and influenced the entire world.
And so it is with your online business. My challenge to you today is to dig deep and start thinking about your VISION, your WHY. This is what is going to propel you in your online business - selling stuff online might not be exciting for you, but is
...picking your kids up from school?
...travelling and working in any location because you are not tied to a normal job?
...having the freedom choose your own working hours and income?
You see, when you harness your WHY, you will overcome any obstacles and you will make a difference.
